Foreman / Site Agent (Formwork & Scaffolding) – Pretoria or East Rand

Company Overview:
Our client, a well-established leader in the formwork and scaffolding industry, is expanding its team.

They specialize in delivering top-tier solutions for construction projects and are currently hiring two energetic and ambitious Foremen / Site Agents to support their growing operations.

Position Summary:
They are looking for hands-on, motivated individuals with strong experience in concrete, formwork, and scaffolding. In this role, you will manage on-site activities, ensure safety and efficiency, and oversee the daily operations of construction sites. Ideal candidates will have between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from reputable, large-scale construction firms.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise on-site tasks involving formwork and scaffolding installation, inspection, and maintenance.

Lead and manage site teams, ensuring safety compliance and adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

Conduct daily inspections and resolve any issues proactively.

Communicate with project managers, clients, and engineers regarding progress and site needs.

Plan and coordinate materials, labor, and equipment.

Keep accurate records of work completed, resources used, and hours worked.

Assist in project scheduling and planning.

Minimum Requirements:

Aged under 40.

2–5 years’ experience in the concrete/formwork industry.

Strong working knowledge of scaffolding and formwork systems.

Previous experience with large construction firms preferred.

Able to manage site teams effectively.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Based in Pretoria or East Rand (preferred).

Afrikaans-speaking is advantageous, but not mandatory.

Committed to safety, quality, and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

  • Able to read and understand construction plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
