ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Stock Clerk Examination is a Civil Service examination for the opportunity to be placed on an Eligible List for a future opening. It is not an application for an immediate opening.
The role involves routine storeroom work, including receiving, checking, storing and issuing tools, supplies, materials and parts. The successful candidate would also maintain stock records, take inventory, prepare requisitions and perform other related duties.
The written examination may be computerized or conducted using traditional pencil and paper. It is designed to test the objectives of the duties and minimum qualifications of the classification.
