About the Role

M-KOPA is looking for a Stock Controller / Retail Customer Care Executive to join its Retail team and help expand digital and financial inclusion across Africa. This role is central to ensuring smooth stock management, exceptional customer service, and efficient support for retail operations as M-KOPA grows from 5 million to over 7 million customers.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Receive, track, and issue stock accurately. Lead monthly stock counts and maintain depot readiness.

Reverse Logistics: Manage returns and device swaps quickly and empathetically.

Sales Support: Work with acquisition and upgrade teams to ensure product availability and seamless sales operations.

Customer Care: Record and resolve customer issues efficiently while upholding M-KOPA’s service standards.

After-Sales Support: Follow up on servicing, coordinate collections, and ensure timely resolutions.

Depot Presentation: Oversee branding visibility and maintain marketing material quality.


Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in customer service or inventory management, preferably in the mobile retail sector.

Comfortable using digital tools and smartphone systems.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a focus on operational accuracy.
