Job Summary
We’re seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Speciality Division. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you’ll oversee cleaning operations, ensure good hygiene and food safety standards, and manage a team of cleaning staff.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Food Safety related studies
3-5 years’ experience in food factory or FMCG cleaning operations
Previous supervisory or team leader experience
Knowledge of chemical handling, cleaning equipment, and sanitation practices
Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Email, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Supervision: Monitor time and attendance, lead and schedule cleaning staff, allocate tasks, and manage staff overtime and leave.
Cleaning Program (PRP): Compile and verify cleaning schedules, SOPs, and training material. Review and improve the cleaning program yearly.
Cleaning & Hygiene Operations: Ensure cleaning schedules are followed, supervise cleaning processes, and verify completion through checklists and inspections.
Compliance & Food Safety: Enforce compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company hygiene policies. Ensure cleaning validation studies are completed yearly.
Health, Safety & Environment: Promote safe use of chemicals and PPE, ensure staff follow safe working practices, and report hazards and incidents.
Management of Cleaning Chemicals and Consumables: Monitor stock levels, maintain daily issuing records, and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
Internal Audits: Conduct quarterly internal cleaning program audits with the Food Safety Coordinator.
