Job Purpose
The Surveillance Operator is responsible for providing 24/7 monitoring and response services, including camera and alarm surveillance, vehicle tracking, call centre operations, incident management, and operational support.
This role ensures that all incidents are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with the company’s service standards.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4)
PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C)
Computer literacy essential
Strong communication and telephone etiquette
Technical knowledge of CCTV and alarm systems (advantageous)
Ability to interpret surveillance body language (preferred)
Experience with two-way radios beneficial
Ability to identify risk behaviour and conduct profiling
Key Performance Areas
Reporting: Record and document incidents accurately.
Monitoring and Response: Observe live feeds, respond promptly to alerts, and escalate incidents when necessary.
General Duties: Provide operational assistance and ensure compliance with company procedures.
