Toolstore Attendant – Kumba Iron Ore (De Beers Group).

Role Purpose:
The Toolstore Attendant ensures employees have access to the correct tools and equipment when required, while maintaining safety, stock control, and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, including PPE compliance
Issue, receive, clean, inspect, and store tools and equipment securely
Monitor tool condition and report damage or losses for repair or replacement
Manage spare parts and stock levels in line with company procedures
Record all tool and stock movements accurately using SAP
Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
Support maintenance teams by ensuring tool availability
Prevent theft or unauthorised access to the toolstore
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / N3 qualification
Valid South African driver’s licence
Basic knowledge of tools, maintenance processes, and document control
