Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with the Team Leader and accounting team to:
- Assist with the completion of NAVs.
- Prepare management and statutory reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual NAVs.
- Prepare management accounts and IPDs.
- Assist with the preparation of annual statutory financial statements.
- Perform bookkeeping for clients within the portfolio.
- Assist with cash management and bank payments.
- Liaise with fund managers, brokers and custodians to communicate information and resolve issues.
- Assist external auditors during the audit process.
- Ensure client responsibilities are completed according to agreed deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Work with management to plan, coordinate and complete NAVs.
- Help ensure the team meets its accounting and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Commerce degree.
- Financial Accounting 3.
- Taxation 1.
- Auditing 1 OR Internal Auditing 2 OR Internal Control & Code of Ethics.
- Corporate Law 1 OR Commercial Law 2.
- Management Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
