Position: Training Officer (Contract – 3 Years).


Location: National (Johannesburg-based role with national availability).


Division: Group Learning & Development.


Reports to: Regional Training Manager.


Industry: Security & Investigations


Role Purpose

The Training Officer will be responsible for presenting, facilitating, and assessing training programmes within their designated area.

The role ensures compliance with quality assurance standards, industry regulations, and legislative requirements.


Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification

Valid EB Driver’s Licence

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & Office Suite

Accreditations & Registrations:

PSIRA Instructor (Grades E–A)

ETDP SETA registered Facilitator

ETDP SETA & SASSETA registered Assessor (compulsory)

ETDP SETA & SASSETA Moderator (advantageous)

Accredited to facilitate & assess Skills Programmes 1, 2 & 3 (compulsory)

NQF Level 3 General Security Practices (required)

NQF Level 4 Specialist Security Practices (beneficial)


Key Responsibilities

Deliver, facilitate, and assess training sessions aligned with internal and industry standards.

Mentor and support learners in learnership programmes to ensure competency.

Implement curricula, assessments, and learning methods in line with approved guidelines.

Ensure compliance with legislative and quality assurance bodies such as SASSETA, PSIRA, DoL, and QCTO.

This is a fixed-term contract (3 years).
