Purpose of the Role
To provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective Ground Support Equipment (GSE) services to SAAT, third-party operators, and foreign airlines, specifically focusing on aircraft movement and equipment positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Move and position aircraft and GSE for SAAT, third-party, and international operators.
Position aircraft and required ground support equipment safely.
Conduct daily inspections on vehicles and equipment according to the driver checklist.
Complete all required paperwork, logs, and compliance documentation.
Follow all regulatory and operational procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist GSE drivers and mechanics with maintenance tasks (tow bars, tugs, cherry pickers, cranes, forklifts, fire tenders, man lifts, etc.).
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Valid EC driver’s licence and valid PDP.
Minimum 5 years’ experience towing and pushing back large aircraft (e.g., B737, A320).
Valid pushback training certificate.
Valid Partac licence.
