Job Overview
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the role of Parts Storeman. Internal permanent employees will be considered first, after which external applicants may be reviewed.
This appointment will align with the company’s Employment Equity Plan, with a focus on promoting representativity in line with the organisation’s numerical targets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
📦 Receiving & Dispatch
Receive parts from suppliers, workshop returns, and customer returns
Pick and pack parts for Counters, Counter Customers, and workshop staff
Assist Workshop Servicemen at the parts counter
📊 Stock Management
Conduct cycle and stock counts when required
Maintain proper filing (daily updates)
Perform bin maintenance to ensure clean, well-packed bins and bulk racks
Assist with debtor queries when necessary
🏭 Warehouse & Housekeeping
Maintain a clean, organised warehouse, oil store, and outside areas
Ensure all housekeeping levels are kept immaculate at all times
Minimum Requirements
ABET Level 4 / Matric
Computer literate
Valid driver’s licence
SAP experience
Strong administrative skills
At least 2 years’ experience in receiving
Previous Storeman experience is an added advantage
