ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Volvo Trucks is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant to support the daily operations of its parts warehouse and help deliver excellent service to customers and workshop teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking and dispatching vehicle parts while ensuring warehouse procedures are followed. The role also includes stock control, housekeeping, health and safety compliance, and supporting efficient warehouse operations
This is a professional opportunity within Volvo Trucks’ Aftermarket division and reports directly to the Parts Controller.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive goods according to Volvo procedures
Verify received parts against documentation
Record discrepancies on the warehouse system
Bin parts according to system allocations
Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders
Update warehouse systems after authorised transactions
Supply workshop technicians with required parts
Process and file credit notes
Perform daily perpetual stock counts
Investigate stock discrepancies
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation
Store parts correctly
Collect and manage warehouse waste
Handle exchange parts and supplier returns
Pack and label core returns for the Parts Distribution Centre
