Job Summary
BCE FoodService Equipment is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant (Late Shift) to support daily warehouse operations.
This role involves receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods while ensuring the warehouse remains safe, clean, and well-organized.
The successful candidate will also assist with inventory control and other general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, offload, and store deliveries.
Organize and manage warehouse stock.
Assist with picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders.
Keep the workspace neat, safe, and orderly.
Safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Participate in stock counts and audits.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Carry out other warehouse-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Matric / Grade 12 (Essential).
Prior warehouse experience (advantageous).
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Basic computer literacy.
Forklift certification (beneficial).
Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods.
Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
