Overview:
Cummins Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support its manufacturing operations.
The role involves handling inbound and outbound warehouse activities while following strict health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
Immediately stop and report major hazards or incidents
Use PPE and follow HSE procedures
Take part in safety training and improve workplace safety
Quality Control:
Follow standard operating procedures
Conduct inspections for damage or errors
Manage non-conforming items
Warehouse Operations:
Receive, sort, label, store, and ship items correctly
Operate warehouse equipment (manual/automated)
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Join inventory counting activities
Teamwork & Communication:
Work with team members and support teams
Suggest process improvements
Stay flexible and complete additional tasks as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience using warehouse systems and tools
Effective time management
Customer service mindset
Sound decision-making skills
Willingness to learn and grow
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid forklift, reach truck, or order picker licenses
Some experience in warehousing or manufacturing
