Job Purpose

The Warranty Clerk provides administrative support by accurately processing service costing and warranty transactions. The role ensures that work is completed timeously, in line with standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Tasks

Meet performance targets according to established procedures and service level agreements.

Work in alignment with governance and compliance standards.

Apply known solutions to daily operational issues and escalate challenges that require further attention.

Capture, update, and cost all relevant documentation accurately.

Plan, manage, and execute all costing-related activities efficiently.

Complete work in a way that promotes efficiency and avoids unnecessary delays.

Customer Service & Communication

Deliver services that support a customer-centric culture and aim to exceed expectations.

Communicate with both internal and external customers through approved channels in a professional and helpful manner.

Reporting & Administration

Record and report all work activities to provide accurate information for decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

Higher Certificate or Advanced National Senior Certificate (Vocational), NQF Level 4.

At least 1 year experience as a Warranty Clerk.

Minimum 2 years experience in a workshop environment.

Knowledge of industry-related legislative requirements.
