Purpose of the Role:
To provide outstanding customer service by offering informed advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements.
The role supports sales growth and encourages customer loyalty through professional interactions and in-depth product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage customers actively in-store and offer expert advice on health and wellness products.
Recommend relevant healthcare, nutritional, and supplement solutions.
Promote various brands through upselling and cross-selling to meet sales targets.
Ensure shelves in the healthcare section are well-stocked and maintained.
Follow stock rotation procedures to reduce waste.
Adhere to risk management guidelines to prevent losses.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the store to enhance customer experience.
Assist with merchandising according to company standards.
Comply with all store operating procedures.
Stay updated with product knowledge and support temporary staff when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of health, fitness, and supplements
Familiarity with retail operations (stock handling, merchandising, risk management)
Skills:
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Selling and merchandising skills
Basic computer knowledge (advantageous)
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a related retail role
Experience with sports nutrition and vitamin products
Sales and customer service training
Education:
Matric (40% Pure Maths or 50% Mathematical Literacy)
At least 50% in English
A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition is advantageous
