About the Position
TWK Agri is seeking a Workshop Assistant to join the Trade division at its Piet Retief Mechanisation branch. The role involves assisting with equipment maintenance, cleaning, organizing tools and stock, and ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Support basic maintenance and repair work on equipment.
Safely load and unload machinery and parts.
Clean and prepare equipment and components for servicing.
Organize and manage tools, parts, and workshop consumables.
Perform stock counts and report any differences.
Keep the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and well-organized.
Dispose of waste according to safety and workshop standards.
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Work overtime or weekends when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
Dependable, punctual, and honest.
Able to work both independently and in a team.
Basic mechanical knowledge or interest is an advantage.
