Job Purpose
As a Sales Agent, you will sell life insurance policies over the phone, meet sales targets, ensure compliance with quality and legal standards, and contribute to overall business success through relationship building and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sell long-term life insurance via outbound calls
Reach and exceed sales targets
Follow compliance and quality standards to reduce risk
Handle customer objections and close deals professionally
Keep up-to-date with product info and industry trends
Deliver operational productivity in a fast-paced call centre
Build lasting client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Stay aligned with FAIS Fit & Proper qualification requirements
Adapt to changing operational demands
Maintain accurate records and self-manage learning
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Minimum 1 year experience in a sales-driven outbound call centre selling long-term insurance
Strong understanding of sales processes and insurance industry legislation
Fluency in English and at least one other South African official language
Clear criminal and credit record
Must be computer literate and willing to work overtime to reach targets
Must meet FAIS Fit & Proper requirements
