Purpose

To assist the department with daily production tasks and ensure smooth operations within the production environment.


Key Responsibilities

Accept and inspect products and raw materials from storage areas and transport them to the appropriate production section.

Ensure adequate supply of consumables such as platforms and boxes for each production shift.

Operate the feeder to ensure consistent paper feed quality; troubleshoot and resolve feeder-related issues.

Monitor and replenish ink levels; perform basic maintenance tasks.

Operate the cutting machine for boards, assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and stripping.

Report any deviations in line with company procedures.

Assist with daily product balancing.

Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and housekeeping standards.

Follow safe work practices; identify, address, and escalate hazards and risks in the workplace.

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)

N3 Engineering or TT3 qualification

1–2 years’ experience in the printing or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage


Knowledge and Skills

Strong numeracy and literacy abilities

Good verbal and written communication skills

Excellent listening and attention to detail
