About the Role
Meridian Wine Merchants is seeking a proactive and well-organized Africa Admin Assistant to join their Gauteng team.
This role supports line managers, ensures smooth order and data processes, and contributes to effective administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to line managers.
Manage customer allocations within the team.
Collect, control, and upload SOH and sales data from Redistributors.
Verify sales orders against POs, including pricing and accuracy.
Process TS documents and follow up to ensure execution.
Assist SSM and ASM with ad-hoc projects.
Maintain quality and productivity standards.
Plan, prioritize, and manage competing demands.
Adapt to organizational changes with flexibility.
Capture weekly opposition brands onto the wine list database.
Send updated wine list reports to RSMs weekly.
Compile split marketing invoices and arrange purchase orders when required.
Prepare presentations and reports for line managers.
Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric.
Secretarial or Administration qualification.
Valid Driverβs License.
1β3 yearsβ administration experience.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
