Purpose of the Role
To process financial transactions accurately and on time, in line with policies and procedures, to help manage risk effectively within the bank’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile financial reports and statements to prevent financial losses
Investigate and resolve payment issues, outstanding queries, or complaints
Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Monitor and report irregular workflow volumes
Contribute to process and systems improvements
Keep updated with industry regulations, systems, and best practices
Promote Nedbank values and participate in transformation and CSR initiatives
Requirements
Minimum Qualification
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
Experience
2–3 years in financial, risk, or process management environments
Knowledge & Skills
Financial reconciliation & administrative systems
Risk and governance controls
Banking procedures and business processes
Strong attention to detail, decision-making, and communication skills
Comfortable with pressure, deadlines, and maintaining high work standards
Familiarity with software tools for data analysis and reporting
