Job Overview

This role provides reliable, efficient administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the designated business area. The Administrator will assist with cost control, customer service, compliance, and the general maintenance of departmental processes.


Key Responsibilities

Support daily operations by providing accurate and efficient administrative assistance.

Manage expenses within the approved budget to drive cost efficiency.

Build and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders such as end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff.

Resolve customer queries promptly and within agreed timeframes.

Deliver excellent customer service through proactive and suitable solutions.

Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices, and assist in implementing necessary changes.

Adhere to governance requirements, including legislative and audit standards.

Create and maintain effective filing systems to support the business unit.

Oversee all administrative processes related to departmental operations.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting and management information.

Support team development by assisting with performance management, skills growth, employment equity, and culture initiatives.

Take responsibility for personal growth and skills development.


Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12

1–3 years’ administrative experience
