Clicks is offering an exciting opportunity for a Beauty Advisor to join the team. This position reports to the Store Manager and covers the entire beauty department.
Purpose of the Role
To provide exceptional customer service through expert advice on skincare and beauty products, manage stock effectively, maintain department standards, and help build customer loyalty while boosting sales.
Key Responsibilities
Offer advice and answer customer queries to help them choose the most suitable beauty and skincare products.
Achieve monthly sales goals by actively promoting, upselling, and cross-selling items.
Track sales trends and suggest improvements to increase product performance and revenue.
Stay up to date on product lines, beauty trends, special offers, and events to better assist customers.
Handle all in-store operations within the beauty section, including stock control, housekeeping, and basic admin.
Ensure the beauty department maintains visual and promotional standards in line with brand expectations.
Provide outstanding service by representing the brand positively and engaging customers professionally and warmly.
Promote and register new Clicks ClubCard members to meet participation targets.
Support sales of private label and exclusive products to increase customer loyalty and profitability.
Embody and promote the company’s values to make Clicks the go-to choice for health and beauty shopping.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum: Grade 12 (Matric)
Preferred: Certificate or qualification in beauty or skincare
Advantageous: Previous experience in beauty/skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing
Skills & Knowledge
Understanding of effective sales techniques
Knowledge of retail operations, stock control, merchandising, and promotions
Familiarity with beauty and skincare products
Strong customer service focus
