Job Purpose:
RCL FOODS is looking for a qualified Boiler Maker to join the Milling Division in Pretoria West.
The successful candidate will support a zero-harm culture by following all safety, health, environmental, and security regulations, while performing fabrication, repair, and maintenance tasks to ensure plant equipment and structures remain operational and compliant.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Trade Test: Boilermaker (with proof of completion of a formal institutionalised training programme)
Minimum N2 (N4+ advantageous)
3 years’ experience as a qualified Boilermaker (FMCG/Milling experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) standards
Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment structures
Computer literate (MS Office)
Valid EB/Code 8 driver’s license
Willing to work shifts, standby, callouts, overtime, at heights, and in confined spaces

Responsibilities
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance tasks as instructed by the Foreman
Fabricate, install, and repair equipment components according to specifications
Conduct inspections and report defects, breakdowns, or upgrade needs
Perform condition monitoring and routine maintenance of structural components
Fabricate and install heavy-duty spouting (workshop fabrication; bolted plant installation)
Weld various materials (e.g., mild and stainless steel) as required
Supervise welders/contractors where applicable and provide clear instructions
Ensure compliance with OHS and company safety standards
