Location: Gauteng
Requirements:
•Grade 12 or Equivalent (N3 Certificate).
•Trade test certificate
•4 years in post apprenticeship experience
•A valid code 8 drivers’ licence and the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 test.
Primary Duties:
•Perform daily maintenance on electrical and auxiliary plant.
•Perform scheduled checks on electrical and auxiliary plant.
•Perform overhaul on pumps, motors, etc.
•Equipment failure identification
•General operating of machinery, grinding etc.
•Flame cutting and welding.
•Rigging of equipment.
Knowledge:
•Basic knowledge of OHS Act and its applications.
•Basics welding and flame cutting of various materials.
Skills:
•Self-discipline, punctual and customer focused.
•Attention to detail.
•Team Player and quality orientated.
•Good Communication skills. (Verbal and Written)
