Minimum Requirements:

A Senior Certificate/Matric (Grade 12) – NQF Level 4

A valid Grade C Security Certificate

Registered with SIRA

No prior experience needed

Required Knowledge:

Batho Pele Principles

Departmental policies and procedures

Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act

Evacuation procedures

Promotion of Access to Information Act

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act

Key Skills:

Written and verbal communication

Interpersonal and conflict resolution

Problem-solving abilities

Basic computer literacy


Main Duties:

Supervise and monitor activities at security access points

Operate and observe the control room for suspicious or unlawful behavior

Offer front-desk services to staff and visitors

Conduct routine patrols inside the building for safety checks

Manage and verify all deliveries to Laboria House
