INTRODUCTION

An opportunity is available for a Consumer Care Learner to join the Customer Service team in Sandton. This is a permanent, full-time position focused on assisting consumers with queries, complaints and credit-report-related matters.

The successful candidate will communicate with consumers, investigate disputes, update systems, follow up on outstanding queries and help ensure that customer requests are resolved efficiently.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Consumer Care Learner will be responsible for handling various customer queries, including email and web-related enquiries and complaints relating to specific products.

The role also involves following up with clients regarding their queries and monitoring administrative procedures within the division. This can include the enrolment of new members and changes relating to services and products.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for updating systems and correspondence while assisting consumers with their personal credit reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

Provide professional customer service and assist consumers with their enquiries and complaints.

The role requires regular communication with customers and appropriate follow-up to ensure that outstanding queries are addressed.

Logging

Accurately log customer queries, complaints and other relevant information using the company’s ticket logging and tracking systems.

Investigations

Investigate consumer disputes relating to personal credit reports and work towards resolving issues based on the information available.

Closure

Follow up on outstanding matters and ensure that customer queries and investigations are properly concluded and recorded.

My Credit Check

Assist consumers with matters relating to their personal credit reports and provide the required information through the relevant processes.

Administration

Monitor and update administrative information, systems and correspondence relating to customer service activities.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have:

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • A Customer Service Certificate
  • Contact Centre experience
  • Customer Service experience and a proven track record
  • Familiarity with ticket logging and tracking systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
