Summary:
Feedem is looking for an experienced and creative Cook to take charge of food preparation and maintain high kitchen standards. The ideal candidate will help plan, prepare, and improve menus to meet quality expectations.

Minimum Requirements:
At least 3 years of cooking experience
Skilled in using kitchen tools and equipment (e.g., knives, pots, bakeware)
Knowledge of cooking methods like grilling, baking, and boiling
Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety procedures
Team player with good communication skills
Physically fit with good stamina
High school certificate (Grade 12); culinary training is a plus
Experience in preparing halaal meals
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare your station with ingredients and tools
Chop, peel, and prep ingredients as needed
Cook halaal meals using appropriate methods and equipment
Monitor dishes during cooking and stir/turn as needed
Ensure food is plated and presented properly before serving
Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen at all times
Store food and kitchen items correctly
Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness
Track kitchen inventory and request restocking when necessary
