Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Intern: Customer Support Operator to join our South African team as part of the Y.E.S. (Youth Employment Service) Program. This opportunity is only open to currently unemployed South African citizens from designated groups, in line with our Employment Equity goals.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer queries and service requests
Perform defined administrative and technical support tasks
Process customer orders and inquiries related to products or services
Maintain and manage customer data in the internal system
Escalate complex issues to qualified technicians or engineers
Liaise with customers and sales teams to resolve issues and confirm details
Provide technical support before and after sales
Assist the Area Service Manager with scheduling and resource planning
Candidate Requirements
Minimum: Matric / Grade 12
Prior customer service experience is advantageous
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Able to work independently and within a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Must be a South African citizen
