About the Role:
We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Braai/Deli Assistant to join our team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the braai area, preparing and serving food, and ensuring a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, grill, and serve food to customers and colleagues.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the braai and deli area.
Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
Assist with stocktaking and product merchandising using the FIFO principle.
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts (advantageous).
Minimum 6 months retail or customer service experience.
Proven cooking experience with knowledge of kitchen tools and techniques.
First Aid and Fire Safety training (advantageous).
Skills & Attributes:
Strong communication skills in English.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Ability to stand, lift, and work under pressure.
Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented.
Commitment to following sanitation and safety standards.
