Job Summary
Eskort’s Centurion Distribution Centre is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Returns Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee all return-related operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Report daily to the Logistics Administrator.
Supervise and manage the returns team to ensure efficient workflows.
Receive return forms from TM and customers and handle re-distribution.
Receive damaged and short-dated stock from the warehouse (forklift licence required).
Capture expired and returned stock accurately on Excel spreadsheets.
Manage and record dumped stock from butcheries and coordinate weekly loading to HBG.
Handle daily loading of Chep pallets and perform monthly Chep stock counts.
Oversee picking, invoicing, and loading of short-dated and damaged stock to butcheries.
Manage frozen stock (expired, short-dated, or damaged) — picking, loading, and invoicing.
Conduct route planning for short-dated stock deliveries.
Prepare monthly reports on short-dated stock.
Participate in Quantum Lean initiatives (small group activities, cost-saving projects, etc.).
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric.
Forklift licence (essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, data capturing).
Experience in warehouse, logistics, or returns management preferred.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and team supervision abilities.
