Job Purpose
The main objective of this role is to ensure the efficient loading and offloading of bread at the site on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Load bread accurately according to the picking slip.
Follow the pipeline loading sequence to ensure order and efficiency.
Conduct tray counts and balance trays for each truck.
Attend daily invocom meetings.
Ensure only quality bread is loaded for dispatch.
Apply the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation method.
Report any loading-related issues to management promptly.
Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.
Skills and Attributes
Strong understanding of organizational processes
Knowledge of in-house systems and business procedures
Effective verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Ability to identify and suggest process improvements
Team player with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
Demonstrates respect and reliability in all work duties
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
At least 3 months’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
Additional Information
Must be willing to work until the last truck is fully loaded.
Required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
Will work on a rotating shift schedule.
May be required to relieve Despatch Clerks when necessary.
