FINANCE LEARNER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Finance Learner, you will support the Finance department with various accounting and administrative activities.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Capturing and processing financial transactions.
  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Performing bank and account reconciliations.
  • Preparing and maintaining financial reports and spreadsheets.
  • Assisting with month-end finance processes.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Supporting audit and compliance activities.
  • Assisting with taxation and general finance administration.
  • Ensuring financial information is handled accurately and confidentially.
  • Performing other finance-related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • A qualification in one of the following fields:
    • Financial Accounting
    • Management Accounting
    • Bachelor of Accounting
    • Diploma in Accounting
    • Diploma in Financial Management
    • BCom Finance & Economics
  • Up to 1 year of finance-related experience.
  • Graduates with no previous work experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Applicants should be comfortable using Excel functions such as:

  • Pivot Tables

Candidates should also have basic knowledge of:
