Forklift Driver – Premier Vereeniging Mill.

Location: Premier Vereeniging Mill, Gauteng.
Job Type: Permanent.
Job Purpose
To load, move, and store stock in the warehouse. This includes receiving replenishment stock and placing it in the correct storage areas.
Key Responsibilities
Keep the forklift clean and in good condition.
Load and offload trucks safely.
Move, transport, and stack raw and packaging materials.
Follow FIFO when handling stock.
Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report faults.
Move palletized goods around the warehouse or storage sections.
Ensure all loads are secured properly.
Conduct basic maintenance checks on the forklift.
Follow written work instructions and complete required records.
Pack and pick stock, ensuring all items are stored in the correct areas.
Handle waste management responsibly.
Follow all Health and Safety procedures.
Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid Forklift License
Experience
1–2 years’ experience operating a forklift in an FMCG environment.
Additional Information
Fast-paced work environment.
6-day work schedule.
May be required to work weekends, public holidays, overtime, or shifts.
