Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Grade 8 / ABET Level 2 or an equivalent qualification
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to read and write
Basic knowledge of security services
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to compile simple reports
Duties:
Carrying out routine manual farming and operational duties
Managing and controlling the movement of cloven-hoofed animals
Stopping, registering, and searching vehicles within designated redline areas
Inspecting and confiscating prohibited goods where necessary
Opening and closing access gates as required
Conducting patrols along boundary fences and performing minor repairs
Tracking animal movements along the redline fence
Clearing vegetation along fence lines
Monitoring quarantined animals and verifying permits
Maintaining accurate records of permits, quarantined livestock, and vehicle movements
