Position: General Worker – XHSET001
Department: Human Settlement (2024)
Location: City of Ekurhuleni
Contract Type: Temporary (non-renewable until 30 June 2026)

Salary: R3,621 per month
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric)
Must be a South African citizen
Resident of the City of Ekurhuleni (include ward details in your CV)
Preferably youth aged 18–35, but applicants over 35 will also be considered
Ability to communicate well with communities
Must be able to read and write
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Go door-to-door to verify title deed information
Help profile beneficiaries who are due to receive title deeds
Assist supervisors with title deed distribution
Locate beneficiaries whose title deeds are still with the City
Identify the reasons behind delays or backlogs in title deed delivery
Record and report daily tasks to your supervisor
Attend and support community meetings as requested
