About the Role
Unicare, part of the Clicks Group, is looking for a Health Zone Consultant (Sport) who is enthusiastic about customer service and passionate about health, fitness, and wellness. This role is based at the Unicare 24-Hour Pharmacy in Bassonia and reports to the Assistant Floor Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service by offering expert advice on health, fitness, and nutritional products.
Consult with customers to recommend suitable supplements and healthcare items based on their needs.
Promote and upsell health-related products to achieve sales targets and improve profitability.
Maintain stock availability and rotation to prevent wastage and drive sales performance.
Uphold risk management and loss prevention procedures.
Ensure store hygiene and cleanliness, creating an appealing shopping environment.
Follow merchandising standards and store operating procedures.
Continuously develop product knowledge and share insights with team members.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant retail or customer service experience.
Sales and customer relations training required.
Experience with sports nutrition and vitamin products is an advantage.
Education:
Essential: Matric with:
Maths (50%) or Maths Literacy (60%)
English (50%)
Pass in Life Science or Physics
Desirable: Qualification in Sports, Fitness, or Nutrition.
Knowledge & Skills:
Essential:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Sales and merchandising abilities
Understanding of retail operations (stock, risk, merchandising)
Desirable:
Basic computer literacy
Product knowledge in health, fitness, and supplements
