Job Overview:
This role is responsible for managing the control room and supervising vehicle loading/unloading processes. It also includes scheduling security personnel, handling phone and email queries, and performing various administrative tasks.
Compliance with legal, contractual, and internal company requirements is key.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric or equivalent qualification
Own reliable transportation
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Health and Safety training or experience
Experience using a weighbridge

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor fleet operations
Address and report fleet-related incidents
Coordinate communication between logistics and drivers
Enforce on-site Health & Safety protocols
Supervise vehicle loading and offloading
Respond to emergencies (e.g., fire, bomb threats)
Maintain site records and ensure proper documentation
Respond to and resolve security-related matters
Conduct site inspections throughout operations
Maintain cleanliness and order at the plant
Operate weighbridge equipment during transport activities
Work scheduled shifts (12-hour day/night or 9.5-hour morning/afternoon)
