Junior Tender Specialist – Cleaning, Hygiene & Pest Control Services
Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Role Purpose
The Junior Tender Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and compiling tenders within cleaning, hygiene, pest control, and general supply services.
The role also includes handling office administration, supplier quotations, and preparing quotations, invoices, and delivery notes.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Sourcing
Identify and track suitable tenders and RFQs daily across platforms such as e-Tenders, client websites, CIDB, newspapers, and supplier databases.
Register the company on public and private vendor databases.
Attend tender briefing sessions or arrange for the right representatives.
Evaluate tender requirements with management to decide on submissions.
Update tender tracking lists and notice boards weekly.
Source private sector leads and opportunities.
Tender Compilation
Ensure all required compliance and supporting documents (bank letters, IDs, qualifications, reference letters, completion certificates, etc.) are updated.
Work with technical teams on pricing and methodology.
Prepare and organize tender documents for management review before submission.
Incorporate additional client instructions during the bidding process.
Tender Submission & Tracking
Submit tenders/RFQs at least 24 hours before deadlines.
Record competitor pricing from public bid openings.
Track tender outcomes and request feedback on unsuccessful bids.
Update competitor pricing database.
Attend open evaluation and adjudication sessions.
Target a minimum tender success rate of 40%.
Achieve set branch performance targets.
Requirements
Matric plus an administrative qualification or certificate in office administration/supply chain.
1–3 years’ experience in tendering or a related role.
Strong knowledge of the tender process and general office admin.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
