About the Role
Tyger Valley College, part of the ADvTECH Group, is seeking a dedicated Life Orientation Teacher for Grades 8–12. The successful educator will deliver dynamic, future-focused lessons that inspire students, support their personal development, and prepare them for life beyond school.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and deliver engaging lessons in Life Orientation and other relevant subjects.
Encourage academic growth, integrity, and lifelong learning among students.
Assess and report on student progress in line with academic standards.
Manage student behaviour constructively and promote a positive learning environment.
Uphold the school’s brand values through professionalism and community engagement.
Support administrative, health, and safety requirements within the school.
Qualifications & Experience
B.Ed (FET) or Degree (NQF 7) with PGCE, specializing in relevant subjects.
SACE registration and police clearance are mandatory.
2–5 years’ teaching experience (including subject specialization).
Proficient in digital tools and computer literacy.
First Aid certification required.
