About the Role
RCL Foods is looking for a Machine Minder to join their production team in Pretoria West. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and adherence to safety and food standards.
Key Responsibilities
🔧 Machine Operation
Set up machines to meet product quality standards.
Monitor performance and efficiency.
Identify and report mechanical or process issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO 14000, 18000, and 22000 standards.
🛡️ Health & Safety
Report unsafe conditions and follow safe operating procedures.
Conduct safety inspections and follow OHS guidelines.
🧰 Machine Maintenance
Perform first-line maintenance and basic fault-finding.
Assist artisans with breakdowns and mechanical repairs.
Clean and inspect machinery components.
🧼 Housekeeping & Admin
Keep workstation neat and clean.
Maintain accurate records and checklists for audits.
🤝 Teamwork & Performance
Support team objectives and communicate effectively.
Take ownership of tasks and contribute to training initiatives.
Uphold company values and performance standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience: At least 2 years in an FMCG or mechanical environment
Advantage: First-line maintenance course or equivalent certification
