participants in the freight and transportation industry. Dependability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic are valued by the team. Overview of the Role Operating mobile truck and trailer scales at customer locations,
precisely recording weight data, and helping the team with driving and other office tasks when not in the field are your responsibilities. This is a hands-on position that demands initiative, meticulousness, and a strong sense of teamwork; it is not a desk job.
Responsibilities:
● Travel to client sites using the company vehicle to conduct truck/trailer weighing using mobile scale equipment.
● Accurately record weighing data into provided Word templates.
● Ensure proper handling and calibration of mobile scale equipment.
● Act as a driver for ad hoc duties and site visits as requested.
● Provide general assistance at the office during quieter periods.
● Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively when interacting with clients.
● Undertake long-distance travel when required (accommodation and meals covered by the client).
Requirements:
● Matric
● Valid SA Driver’s Licence (essential).
● Own reliable transport to get to work (Benoni-based).
● Basic computer literacy (Word proficiency
required).
● Willingness to travel and assist in multiple areas of the business.
● Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and a proactive, level-headed personality.
