Contract: 12 Months.
Location: Middelburg.
Global Grade: 03.
Key Responsibilities
Support Technicians in inspecting heavy earthmoving machinery
Assist with basic troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repairs
Help remove and install components in the workshop or at customer sites
Assist with ordering and managing parts
Support with admin tasks such as service reports, labour bookings, parts returns, and expenses
Help compile accurate machine assessments and reports, including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR)
Perform general duties, housekeeping, and provide customer support
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies
Grade 12 / N3 with:
Pure Mathematics (minimum 45%)
English (minimum 45%)
Physical Science (minimum 45%)
N2 / N3 with relevant theoretical subjects is an added advantage (Motor/Diesel Theory, Electrical/Electronic Theory)
“Technicians for The World” certificate will be beneficial
Code B learner’s license (light motor vehicle) is an advantage
Good reading, writing, and speaking skills
Strong numeracy ability
