Salary: R11 000 – R14 000 per month.

Overview
A luxury 5-star safari lodge located in the Madikwe Game Reserve is looking for a professional and detail-focused Reservations Administrator & Front of House team member. This role offers the chance to work in a peaceful bush environment while ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth administrative operations. Candidates with strong leadership qualities may also be considered for promotion to Assistant Lodge Manager.

Role Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for reservations, front office duties, and daily lodge administration. Key tasks include managing guest arrivals and departures, overseeing curio shop sales, and maintaining top-tier service standards. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about hospitality, organised, and comfortable working in a remote lodge setting.

Key Responsibilities

Handle bookings, guest check-ins, check-outs, and payments.

Complete administrative duties and maintain accurate lodge records.

Welcome and host guests; manage queries, complaints, and special requests.

Conduct regular room inspections and assist in supervising housekeeping.

Support curio shop operations and assist with monthly stock counts.

Work closely with all lodge departments to ensure seamless operations.

Assist senior management with reports and operational tasks.

Salary: R11 000 – R14 000 (based on experience).

On-site accommodation: one-bedroom home (no pets or dependants).

Meals and uniforms included.

Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.

Medical aid and provident fund after 3 months.

Growth Opportunity
If the candidate shows strong leadership and administrative ability, the role can advance to Assistant Lodge Manager with a salary of R17 500 – R20 000.

Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years’ experience in Front of House or Reservations.

Excellent organisational and administrative ability.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Experience with PANHospitality or similar systems is an advantage.

High attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.

Must have own reliable transport.

Must be able to live and work in a remote lodge environment.
