About the Role
As a ResHub Reservationist, you’ll be the key point of contact for guests, travel agents, and referral networks. You’ll manage reservations efficiently, ensuring each guest receives world-class service from enquiry to confirmation.
Your responsibilities include handling calls, emails, and system bookings, processing invoices, updating records, and managing modifications or cancellations.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to guest and agent enquiries via phone, email, or central systems.
Create, update, and maintain reservation records.
Prepare quotes, confirmations, invoices, and payment follow-ups.
Process cancellations and amendments accurately.
Work closely with hotel teams to ensure smooth booking operations.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) essential.
Hospitality Management qualification or similar (advantageous).
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Reservationist (multi-property experience preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel Property Management Systems.
Excellent typing speed (60 wpm) and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and financial awareness.
Presentable, well-spoken, and able to work under pressure.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
Candidates from outside the city must cover their own relocation costs.
