Role Introduction
The Business Development Partner – Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is responsible for expanding the company’s EPM offerings.
The role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting EPM solutions.
A solid background in business operations, financial systems, and performance technologies is key.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development
Develop and execute plans to grow EPM-related business.
Monitor industry trends to position EPM offerings as a top choice.
Expand into new markets and sectors with targeted strategies.
2. Client Engagement
Build relationships with senior stakeholders and executives.
Understand client needs and deliver customized EPM solutions.
Manage the full client journey—from initial contact to post-sales support.
3. Solution Expertise
Act as a subject matter expert in EPM, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Clearly communicate the value of solutions tailored to business goals.
Coordinate with internal teams to align solutions with client expectations.
4. Strategic Partnerships
Form alliances with key industry players and technology partners.
Work with internal departments (sales, marketing, product) to ensure successful collaborations.
5. Sales Support
Equip the sales team with market intelligence and strategic insights.
Help prepare sales materials, proposals, and client presentations.
Take part in meetings and demos to help secure major deals.
6. Market Intelligence
Stay informed about EPM trends, competition, and market shifts.
Provide updates and performance reports to company leadership.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate across departments to ensure product offerings align with business goals.
Encourage a team-oriented approach to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s or certifications a plus).
Proven experience in business development or sales, especially in EPM, finance, BI, or planning tools.
Deep knowledge of EPM technologies and concepts.
Preferred Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with CRM tools, sales platforms, and project management systems.
Comfortable working independently and within teams.
