Salary: R260,244 – R356,928 per annum (plus benefits)
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 plus a one-year post-matric certificate in Administration (or related field).
1–2 years’ administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clerical and administrative support at depot level.
Manage complaints and queries related to refuse removal services and associated costs.
Oversee the department’s archiving and filing systems.
Record and file weighbridge slips for daily waste disposal and container transport.
Take minutes during meetings when required.
Administer service contracts, including applications for new services.
Maintain daily records of drivers’ bulk container collections and call-for lists.
Update and track inventories of refuse containers (bulk and others).
Assist with budget monitoring for income and expenditure linked to waste services.
Draft correspondence related to income control and service marketing.
Ensure compliance with governance, council policies, and procedures.
Support sound financial management practices to minimize waste of resources.
