About the Role
Clicks Group is looking for a Shop Assistant Cashier to provide exceptional customer service and ensure efficient store operations. The successful candidate will handle point-of-sale activities, assist with merchandising, and contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Process all sales transactions quickly and accurately at the point of sale (POS).
Handle cash safely and efficiently at all times.
Promote and register new Clicks ClubCard members to meet participation targets.
Inform customers of current promotions and offers to drive sales.
Deliver friendly, professional, and visible in-store service as a brand ambassador.
Maintain merchandising, stock presentation, and general store housekeeping according to standards.
Stay up to date with product ranges, promotions, and store events.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of:
Basic maths and cash handling
Retail/FMCG operations and merchandising principles
Stock control and customer service standards
Skills required:
