Job Description
RCL FOODS is seeking a reliable and organised Storeman to join the Speciality Division in Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring materials are rotated according to the First In, First Out (FIFO) principle, and supporting smooth production operations.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Email, and MS Teams.
Valid Forklift Driver’s Licence.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain optimal stock levels to support uninterrupted production.
Rotate stock using the FIFO system.
Verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
Record receipt details, sign documentation, and report discrepancies.
Process stock transactions and update inventory using SAP.
Conduct daily spot checks and monthly stock takes; report and investigate variances.
Manage documentation for goods received, returned, or issued.
Ensure proper bin allocation and storage of received stock.
Liaise with suppliers to track and follow up on outstanding orders.
Support the engineering team by identifying and requesting required spare parts and materials.
Maintain accurate MSDS files for lubricants, gases, oils, and chemicals.
Uphold cleanliness and order in the storeroom.
Participate in weekly planning and daily engineering meetings.
Use Microsoft Teams Workflow system for quotation requests and approvals.
