About the Role

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and supervising daily cleaning operations at the site. This role ensures all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard while supporting and guiding team members throughout their shifts.


Key Responsibilities

Allocate and oversee daily cleaning duties.

Support, guide, and motivate team members.

Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards.

Address issues promptly and report irregularities.

Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards at all times.

Train new staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety practices.

Ensure health and safety regulations are always followed.

Track attendance, monitor task completion, and order supplies when necessary.

Maintain accurate administrative records and report to the site manager.

Serve as the primary on-site contact for client queries or requests.


Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric).

Previous cleaning experience required.

Supervisory or team-leading experience is advantageous.

Knowledge of cleaning tools, equipment, and products.

Understanding of workplace safety and hygiene regulations.

Basic computer literacy and administrative skills.
