Position: TVET Administrative Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract – 36 Months).


Location: Midrand, Johannesburg (Hybrid).


Reports to: TVET Director.

Role Overview
The TVET Administrative Assistant will join the Regional Publishing Services team, helping coordinate and manage the production of educational materials to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and track compliance documents, requests, authorisations, and filing.

Handle administration for author contracts.

Process invoices in Syspro with correct expense coding.

Process EFT requisitions for non-WIP expenses.

Prepare presentations and briefing materials.

Set up and populate book templates.

Source suitable images from Shutterstock.

Assist with creating and compiling marketing and sales collateral.

Monitor progress of marketing materials against deadlines.

Provide general admin support, including courier arrangements, copying, scanning, printing, booking rooms, arranging travel, and scheduling meetings.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Matric completed.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent English communication skills.

Highly organised and systematic.

Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with Syspro is an advantage.

Fast, responsive, and a team player.
